By the Grace of God and His love, St. Philopateer Church joyfully announces the commencement of the New SongOrthodox Choir
Our mission is to enjoy tasting the presence of the Lord singing and praising His Holy Name. If you have the heart of praise, and are longing to join the angelic hosts praising the Lord, and if God gifted you with a musical talent, voice, and/or theatre art, please complete the registration form to apply.
Please Note: ✥ Registration will be open during the entirety of Holy Lent of 2023 ✥ Tryouts and interviews will be conducted during the first 3 weeks of the Holy Fifty Days.
✥ To join, you must be at least 18 years of age ✥ You must also be an active member of the Coptic Orthodox Church or any other Oriental Orthodox Church. The choir is open to all Oriental Orthodox Christians in the entire DC Metro Area.
The individuals selected to form the New Song Orthodox Choir, will pray, praise, and practice at St. Philopateer Church. A schedule will be shared once the tryouts and interviews have been completed.
